MATERIAL GUIDE
At TĔLOPLAN we create timeless garments that enhance your life through their elegance, functionality and durability.
We only work with high quality raw materials and advanced manufacturing processes so that you can enjoy our garments in their perfect state for a long time. As a responsible producer of high-quality garments sustainability is a non-negotiable business value for us.
That's why we are always looking for ways to build on our existing network of suppliers and to improve our processes. We always aim to achieve higher levels of sustainability and traceability for our business.
Using only essential packaging is also one of the ways of reducing waste.
So being environmentally friendly is not an option for us, it's an ongoing mission.
Below is the list of materials we prefer to use to create our garments:
WOOL
100% biodegradable, does not contribute to land pollution, uses less water than polyester to produce. Wool is a stain, odour and crease resistant natural fibre.
HEMP
An especially durable fibre which produces hard wearing garments.
100% biodegradable.
Fast growing hemp only takes about 11 weeks to mature. It is insect and disease resistant, which makes it possible to be grown without pesticides.
LINEN
A very strong fibre which produces long lasting garments.
100% biodegradable.
No chemicals needed for growth or manufacture.
ORGANIC COTTON
Our cotton is grown on soil which has been pesticide-free for at least three years.
CUPRO
It’s 100% plant-based materials, made from cotton linter, a waste product of cotton.
The chemical used to produce cupro can be extracted afterwards and the water can be reused.
TENCEL
Tencel made from eucalyptus trees, don’t require pesticides or irrigation.
It uses less land and water than cotton and 99% of the chemical and solvents used in the process to break down the wood pulp are recovered and recycled with minimal waste and very low emissions.
SILK
Contains natural protein and 18essential amino acids.
It is close to human skin construction and Silk does not draw moisture away from skin and hair.
Encourages a proper moisture balance, while its extremely smooth and soft texture proves to be beneficial for those with sensitive skin conditions.
Here are some simple tips for how to care for your garment so that you can enjoy it in perfect condition for a long time:
-When possible, brush off dust after wearing with a garment brush so you can wash the garment less often.
-When washing a garment in a washing machine please turn the garment inside out, use washing net.
-Please flat dry knitwear as drying on hangers can cause garments to stretch due to the weight.
-Please avoid tumble drying your garment.
We hope you will love your garment for a long time.
